China Sea Grass - A Chinese product made from twisted grass
to resemble rush for chair seating in place of genuine rush.

A strong rope-like twisted grass made for hundred years by the  
Chinese.  It resembles Genuine Rush.  In color  and requires no  
twisting. Because it is hand made, it varies in sizes and texture.  
This is a 2-ply material.

      Diameter approx. from 1/8" - 7/32" in coils of 1lb, and 2 1/2 - 3 lbs.
